A fifth generation local to Cape May, Denise now resides in North Cape May with her husband and two boys. Raising her family anywhere else besides the Cape May area was not an option, as Denise wanted to give her children the same satisfying experience she enjoyed growing up at the shore.
Having completed all of her schooling in Cape May County, Denise had been a successful travel agent for 17 years prior to joining HomeStead. She worked with one of the most recognized, diversified, international auto/travel agencies in the industry. But Denise's first priority was always family, and her decision on a career change to join HomeStead as Secretary was a natural progression. In the last quarter of 2009 Denise began training for the position of Finance Officer. Her background in accounting complemented the skills required in learning this facet of the business, and Denise was fortunate to learn from one of the best - Lisa (who left the HomeStead family to begin her own).
Denise enjoys summers on the beach with family and friends, and wouldn't trade the Cape May life for anything in the world. Of course the rest of the year is taken up with being a soccer-basketball-baseball-track-lacross mom. Always on the go with her family, you could run into her just about anywhere you'll find a sporting event in Cape May County.
